Graham first went to piano lessons at the age of 8 continued with lessons throughout school life passing all exams until leaving school to join the R.A.F. Again during the later years taking a strong interest in choral work. this was helped by joining the parish church choir at the age of 10.

Whilst in the R.A. F. serving locally was able to join Newport(Salop) District Male Voice Choir at the age of eighteen and a half as aTop Tenor. After being demobbed he joined the W.O.M.V.C. in January 1960 as were now living in Wolverhampton Appointed deputy pianist in 1963 I remained as such until resigning in 1970 to concentrate on solo work in both capacities as a Tenor and a Pianist.

This continued with great success until 1976 when the call of Choral work became too strong,That was when I was appointed the Musical Director of now the defunct Lanesfield Choral Society, I remained there until joining the Gentleman Songsters in 1989-again becoming both deputy conductor and deputy pianist. In 1993 the wheel turned again when I was offered Musical Director of the Wolverhampton Orpheus Male voice Choir, In 1998 I became Organist at Hurst Hill Methodist Church, and I am still there.

Since 1993 I have traveled ,(Music Based) to U.S.A., Q.E.2, France, Germany, Corfu twice, Malta ,cruise liners as guest cocktail pianist, Scotland and length and breast of the U.K.

Cynthia began learning to play the piano at the age of 7, neither of her parents played piano but they were in the Church Choir as were many of her aunts and uncles.

At the age of 11 Cynthia attended The Girls High School in the town were she lived and quite early on, she started accompanying her Dad who was a tenor, She played for him and varied soloist`s at church concerts.

She continued learning the piano, and at 14 She gained her (Grade 8) Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. At 16 she gained her A.L.C.M and L.L.C.M Diplomas. Her Music Teacher at school suggested she should train to be an Accompanist at a Music College but she decided on a different career, and whilst at University music seemed to be pushed into the background. It was`nt until she was married and had a young family then she came back to music.

When she returned to work after about 7 years she taught music part-time in secondary school for about 7 years then studied a Postgraduate Diploma in Education she taught in a Junior School for many years having responsibility for music throughout the school.

Since retiring from teaching, she`s been playing the piano for small groups of singers entertaining Residents of Care homes, and also been a school pianist for two Schools and a Nursery School I have also played in several Music Festivals accompanying a friend. For many years she has been rehearsal pianist for Gilbert and Sullivan Society and accompanist for the Vocalis Choir. In 1999 she was appointed Associated Accompanist for Wolverhampton Orpheus Male Voice Choir then in January 2004 she became Accompanist.
